Below are the esteemed figures who joined us in person, alongside prominent leaders who - though unable to attend due to professional obligations - warmly embraced our vision by sending official messages of support and partnership.

Official Greeting Message from Haris Theoharis - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Greece

(Sent an official greeting message as he was unable to attend in person due to state duties)

Dear Mr. Idris Ali Aziz, esteemed President of Bangla Eurovision 2026,

Dear organizers,

Friends,

I believe that we share many commonalities—meaning Bangladesh and Greece—as two countries and two peoples moving along parallel paths. We are nations that come from deep within history and, through great adventures, have never stopped pursuing prosperity and development. We are also two states that, each in different ways, across different historical periods, and with varying durations, have struggled to dispel prejudices and stereotypes formed about us within the international community.

I genuinely wish I could be among you today to discuss all these matters in person, and to exchange views, experiences, and expertise with the goal of mutual benefit and moving forward together toward progress. Unfortunately, however, my duties as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs restrict me to sending you a warm greeting from afar.

Nevertheless, I would like to assure you that I systematically follow Bangladesh's journey and the admirable efforts being made to overcome difficulties and unleash its true potential. Furthermore, I promise you that I will promote requests for the further strengthening of diplomatic and broader relations between Greece and Bangladesh—between two countries bound by mutual sympathy and friendship.

I wish you every success with your event and hope that we will have the opportunity to continue our dialogue as soon as possible.

Thank you.
